Local IT company clinches top international partner status - 6 March 2008

Local specialist ICT services company, ATIO, has been awarded the Platinum Elite Partner status by global provider of unified IP business communications solutions, Interactive Intelligence for the second consecutive year. The company joins only four other partners globally to achieve the status - the highest level of recognition available.

According to Dave Paulding, Interactive Intelligence's regional sales manager for UK and Africa, this is a significant achievement. "The partner status is renewed annually, so to achieve this high level of performance two years running is commendable," he says. "We have over 300 partners worldwide, and ATIO is in the top 2.5%. Only one other company in the Europe, Middle East and Africa region achieved the same level of partner status."

Interactive Intelligence takes many factors into account when awarding the Platinum Elite Partner status, including software revenue, implementation of the latest software upgrades, ability to keep up with technical requirements, training of technicians, customer satisfaction, etc.

"We are immensely proud of our staff and our achievement," says Cindy van Wyk, business unit executive at ATIO. "We had to meet stringent criteria, as well as conduct ourselves in a professional and exemplary manner. This recognition and reward pays homage to the superior and talented sales, service and technical delivery capability within ATIO."

ATIO is South Africa's largest privately-owned provider of integrated communication services with more than 20 years of experience in this specialised field. ATIO provides services such as contact centres, workforce optimisation, self-service automation, converged networks, unified communications, IP telephony and mobility. Interactive Intelligence is a global provider of unified business communications solutions for contact centre automation, enterprise IP telephony, and enterprise messaging. The company has more than 3,000 customers worldwide and is ranked among the top 500 global software and services suppliers.
