The purpose of coaching is to improve performance. The Coaching intervention could include e-Learning as well as face to face coaching and the Coaching capability would effectively measure performance (based on assessments and meta-data) before and after the Coaching has been conducted.

The effectiveness of the Coaching (or the attitude of the individual to the coaching) would be visible to management so that the appropriate business decisions can be made.
